Our Mission

is to dependably craft resolution from chaos; to consistently introduce calm and reason where others are frantic; and to bring resolution and life back into our clients lives through expert knowledge, investigative and problem solving skills, time and cost efficiency, compassion, attention, listening and serving.

Our Vision

is to exemplify excellence as construction forensics experts.

We Pledge

to always exhibit uncompromising, unbiased integrity; to care for each client as if he or she were family; to be courteous, considerate and prompt in our behavior and actions; to be thorough, to explain unfamiliar technical methods and terms, to dig deeper, to produce honest and accurate results for our clients; and to meet or beat all deadlines at a fair price.

Why we do what we do

We love to investigate and resolve problems. We do this equally well performing as a solo expert or as part of a team of experts. There is no greater professional satisfaction than finding solutions and resolution for our clients. The issues are diverse but they all have one thing in common: they are all construction related.

  • It rained hard during the past winter and someone discovered an ugly stain around a north facing window. Is the stain the result of bad construction? Or was the window left open during the rain?
  • A tree fell across the roof of a small house causing extensive damage. What is the best way to repair the damage, and how much will it cost?
  • An air conditioning mechanic was working on a roof conducting regular maintenance on a roof mounted condenser, suddenly he falls through a skylight. Unfortunately he did not survive his injuries and died three days later. Why did he fall through the skylight? and who is at fault?
  • A person buys a building and claims he was not notified of a pre-existing condition. Was this an oversight by the pre-acquisition inspector? Was this an open and obvious issue? Should the buyer’s or seller’s real estate agent have disclosed the item? Or, was this a condition that occurred after the sale?

It’s our job to investigate and authoritatively answer these questions.

No matter how small or large the problem, after resolving the issue the feeling is often the same: We did something positive today. If it is litigation related then we have the additional burden of finding the best way to keep our clients out of the courtroom and assist in finding a resolution through mediation or other non-litigation process. If the courtroom is the forum of last resort, then we will provide intelligent, easy to understand, and clear testimony. With over two thousand cases behind us we have reached a comfortable place knowing that we can and do find the answers for our clients.
